Terms of use

The rules of the road trip.

Straightforward terms for accounts, community content, stadium information, and the services that power your passport.

01

Your agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ballpark Passport iOS application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Ballpark Passport. If applicable law requires permission from a parent, guardian, or organization, you represent that you have obtained it.

02

Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us through Support if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as it evolves. We will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss of your passport data, but you should retain copies of memories that are important to you.

03

Ballpark and game information

Ballpark Passport combines editorial content, community contributions, and information from third-party sources. Schedules, scores, transport, parking, policies, accessibility, food, pricing, entrances, seat directions, and other stadium details can change without notice.

Always confirm time-sensitive or safety-critical information with the team, venue, ticket provider, transport operator, or other official source. Ballpark Passport is a travel companion, not an official ticket, navigation, emergency, or venue-access service.

04

Your content

You retain ownership of reviews, photos, notes, profile information, and other content you submit. You grant Ballpark Passport a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or these Terms. You may remove content through available app controls, subject to limited retention for security, moderation, and legal obligations.

05

Community conduct and moderation

You may not use Ballpark Passport to:

  • harass, threaten, impersonate, or target another person;
  • publish hateful, sexually exploitative, or violent content;
  • share private information without authorization;
  • post spam, scams, malware, or misleading commercial content;
  • manipulate ratings, reports, statistics, or account systems;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass service security; or
  • use the service for unlawful activity.

Users can report content and block other users. We may review reports and remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary. Moderation decisions involve judgment and do not guarantee that every objectionable item will be identified immediately.

06

Third parties and trademarks

Ballpark Passport may link to or rely on third-party services, including Apple, mapping providers, schedule sources, ticketing sites, and stadium websites. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services.

Ballpark Passport is an unofficial fan guide and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball, any team, or any stadium. Team names, league names, venue names, logos, and related marks belong to their respective owners.

07

Suspension and account deletion

You may stop using Ballpark Passport at any time and may delete your account through the app. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, risk to users or the service, legal requirements, or prolonged service discontinuation.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and responsibility for prior conduct—remain effective.

08

Disclaimers and responsibility

Ballpark Passport is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and absolute accuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ballpark Passport will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from third-party services, travel choices, venue decisions, user content, or unavailable data. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

09

Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the app through Apple, these Terms are between you and Ballpark Passport, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, except as required by applicable App Store terms. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce the App Store-related provisions of these Terms as third-party beneficiaries.

10

Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms to reflect new features, safety needs, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the Ballpark Passport Support page.
